the double mile

This evening we had our last running competition before the summer vacation starts. so around 19:00 me and my mom left by car to the fbk stadion. we parked the car 100 meter before the stadion. we got our start numbers and walked around a bit to see if we saw some people we know. at 20:00 everyone got ready to start. we were the last to start and i started a bit faster than i do normally with the 5km cause its only 3km we had to run i did not had water with me normally i have some water with i thought its just 3km i can do without water but i was wrong before two km i kind of needed water my head got so warm it felt like it would explode and i was thirsty and ofcourse my ribs started to hurt so badly i thought i would walk but i did not and even near the finish i could do a sprint so my mom was four seconds behind me and we both made a very good time better than we had last year so we are very proud :-) so now a little break for some weeks and up to next year double mile :-)

weekend with my causen and her boyfriend

yesterday around 12 my causen Froukje and her boyfriend Dorian arrived at the camping. i showed my caravan to them and where they stayed the night. after lunch we walked to town and eat an ice cream together even my dog rocky got an ice cream so he was so happy. when we came back me, my causen and my mom went for a swim and enjoyed the sun shine at the pool at 6 we went back to the caravan and got ready for diner we went out for diner at a restaurant in markelo after diner at 21:30 we had a little walk with the dog and i showed them the other part of the camping and went to the building where the youth play they got this biljart table and a dart board and a sofa, tv and radio inside the building. dorian went playing some biljart and my dog got crazy with the balls he wanted to try to catch the balls but he could not hahahahaaaa. at 23:00 or so we went to the caravan and went to sleep. today it was raining when we woke up so was not really fun weather. when it got dry we went for a walk we showed them the canadian grave yard and they liked it very much after we walked up to woody's a restaurant and drink some coffee with a pie after we showed them a bit around the holterberg and the nature and walked back to the camping. when we came back to the camping we eat lunch. after Froukje en Dorian left back home by car. it was a real fun and great weekend and it went very fast. soon going out for a small walk with my dog and relax a bit.

marikenrun

sunday morning i woke up at 07:30 and put my running clothes on, eat breakfast went outside with my dog, gave him something to eat and left to my mom. she was ready too. we drink some coffee together and then left by car to the train station to go to nijmegen. at 09:16 the train came so we got in the train. in zutphen we had to catch another train. we had to wait just a few minutes till the next train came. in nijmegen we got out of the train and we had to get another train to get to another station in nijmegen itself it was just 3 minutes by train. when we got out we had to walk 5 minutes to the place the running race started. it's a ladies run so only for ladies. at 1 the 5km started first we had a warming up and really lots of fun. their were four boxes and every box it had a colour we were in the orange box so every few minutes one box left after two boxes left we went well first we had to walk till we could start running. when we got over the matt (the matt knows when you got over it and knows the time) so i started to run slow and after a few minutes i went faster and left my mom again behind. i thought she was like a minute behind me but she was only 30 seconds behind me aaahhhh. it was hard and it got warm too. lucky their was a water post at 2 km. it was lots of fun and when i reached to finish i was tired but liked it :-)

mothersday

at 09:00 i woke up and got myself ready went out for a small walk with my dog and went to my parents. they were awake too. we eat breakfast together after i started to clean my caravan vacuum and cleaned the toilet. around 13:00 my brother albert his wife Karen and their two boys stef and lars came by. stef and lars had their swimming suit with them so we went to the swimming pool and played in the water for a while after some time we went back to the caravan of my parents and we were thirsty. my brother richard and his girlfriend were their too. after stef and lars got their drink they left to the playground and played for a while. when they came back they had to leave home not long after richard left too and we started diner. now everyone is gone. it was a fun day and we all enjoyed the sun shine :-)

freedom run

Yesterday we celebrated that holland got free of war a long long long time ago. after lunch my uncle and aunt came by with their motor so it was a real good surprise. after diner we got our start numbers for the running race. at 7 we went to the sport park near by the camping and walked around a bit at 19:30 we put our jackets in the bag of the bikes and got ourself ready we watched the kids getting their prices and at 20:00 the 10km started to run they had to run 4 rounds at 20:05 the 5km started to run so it was me and my mom. we had to run over grass runned into the villa neighbourhood through woods back to the sportpark and than a second round. i started to run faster and left my mom behind me. i finished at 32:26 and it was soo hard my mom came to the finish at 34:02 i was soo proud at myself i did it again and won from my mom too :-)
