family weekend and celebration of the birthday of my mom

Saturday afternoon around 14:00 my uncle Hans and his wife and two kids Tynke and Sven arrived at my parents house. when they arrived we eat some applepie that my dad has made and drink some coffee and tea and talked. in the evening my brother richard and his girlfriend and their small dog pooky arrived at my parents place and the aduls went to play this card game while me and my causin Tynke were playing mario kart on the wii for a while. later me and my causin we went out to the swing night till 02:00 than my mom picked us up. sunday morning when we had all together breakfast my mom brought me and my causin Tynke to the fitness and we did a body combat lesson for an hour and than my mom and my aunt reina picked us up again and we drunk some coffee and tea at the fitness and than left back home. back at home we started to play this card game "pesten" not that later richard arrived with his dog pooky and he joined the game too and some hours later my brother albert and his wife and two kids arrived so we finished the game. me and Tynke decided to go to the playground nearby with Sven, Stef and Lars. at the playground the boys were playing for a while and than some friends of lars came to the playground so they started to play soccer for a while. me and Tynke were talking and playing with Sven and watching stef and lars as well. some hours later we were tired and cold so we all went back home to my parents place and we started to eat diner all together. after diner they all left back home. i only stayed at my parents house till 21:30 and than i left back home too and i was very very tired so i felt a sleep but it was a great and fun weekend with my relatives :-)and my mom had a great sunday afternoon birthday celebration.

7 hills run

Sunday morning i woke up at 7 and got my running clothes together and put in a bag and put on my running shoes. got outside with the dog and feed him than i went to my parents place. my mom was ready too so my dad brought us by car to the train station. at 09:25 marleen and martin arrived at the train station and some minutes later the train arrived we stepped into the train till deventer there we had to switch train to nijmegen. around 11:00 we arrived in nijmegen centre and we first saw where we can get our t-shirts with the logo of the 7 hills on it we bought. when we had that we went to the dressing room to get dressed into our running clothes than we went to find a cafe/restaurant to have something to eat and tea after that it was time to get to the start. the black 1 was starting at 12:30 martin was in black 1 and me, my mom and marleen were in black 3 so martin told us to start with the black 1 so we did. We had to run 15km it was a hard race and a lot of climbing and hills :-( around the 4km i felt like throwing up but at the 5km we had a water post so i drunk some water and than i felt well again so i runned till around the 8km than i got pain in some muscles and it got harder than the last 4km was very hard and some parts i just walked. i had some moments that i thought i'll give up and sit down but i did not. i had a time of 1hour and 49minutes so that was good for me :-) and at the finish i got a medal :-) well up to next year run.

familie bezoek in Hoogkerk

this morning i woke up at 7 and got ready eat breakfast while my mom went for a small walk with my dog. when she came back she gave the ginepigs something to eat and i gave my dog something to eat and checked his water when i did that i took my bag and went off to my parents house across the street. around 9 we took off by car to hoogkerk nearby groningen and around 11 o'clock we arrived in hoogkerk at marian and her husband's house. we were one of the first and not that much later nikki and her husband matt arrived and after my uncle hans his wife reina and their kids tynke and sven arrived too. before the lunch the daughter of marian Tamara and her younghest son darwin came by too meet us too. we talked, laughed and had fun all day long and had lunch together.sven and darwin played together with the toys first they were both shy but later they were each others friends :-) later tynke took out her nintendo ds and showed some games so i played a few games on it and started to like the nintendo ds and the games on it and my mom played on it too for a while :-) around 16:30 everyone left back home so at 19:00 we arrived home and i went to my house to go outside with the dog and gave him something to eat than i went back to my parents house to eat something and after diner i took off back to my home and went to watch some tv and felt asleep on the couch. but it was a fun day.

nightmarathon & kennedymars haaksbergen

Friday evening the nightmarathon (42km) and kennedymars (80km) started again. i looked forward to it already a long time. every year i join the nightmarathon 42km together with my mom. the nightmarathon and kennedymars always starts at 22:00 in haaksbergen at the bouwmeester. we all walk through the night. the nightmarathon has to be back the next morning at 9:00 in the bouwmeester in haaksbergen and the kennedymars will be back at 18:00 together with the daymarathon that stated at 6:30 in the morning. when you made it you get this medal afterwards :-) its every year a big event and a lot of people join the walk :-) i started the nightmarathon when i was 13 years old that was my first time :-)

Family day at the zoo in emmen

Yesterday Jantien (a relative of my mom's site) and her boyfriend Dietmar came over by car and spent one night at my house. when they arrived around 21:35 we talked a little and i showed my home to them than we got ourselfs ready to go out to the city. we first had a drink in the 2 wezens (thats a cafe) and after we went for a while to the rits (a party cafe) where we met some of my friends so we talked a little and left back home around 02:00 back home and went to sleep.
This morning we woke up at 07:30 and got ourselfs ready at 09:00 my parents, my brother richard, me, jantien and dietmar left by car to the zoo in emmen where we had a meeting with some more relatives of my mom's site who we have never met so it was the first time we have met each other. when we all got at the entrance of the zoo we went insite and first talked with each other and went around telling who we were and had a cup of coffee and/tea together. after that we all left to see the animals at the zoo the whole group kind of broke up so i watched the animals with my uncle Hans, his wife Reina and their little boy Swen. the younghest daughter of hans my causin Tynke have watched the animals with my parents and brother and not that much later the eldest daughter Froukje and her boyfriend joined my parents and brother too. the last two hours we went through the zoo together my parents, uncle, aunt, my brother, sven, tynke, froukje and her boyfriend and me together. at 16:00 we all have met again and made a group picture together and had a drink together and than most of the people left back home. it was a really fun day and we had a very good weather the sun was shining all day :-) so up to next family day.

playing with my nephews :-)

This afternoon at 16:00 i took my bike and went over to the house of my eldest brother to play with my nephews on the playstation. when i arrived we started to play this game fifa07 it's a football game suddenly my eldest nephew wanted to play another game so we played the rest of the time this game spider-man and his friends at 17:00 my brother albert arrived of his work and we all eat diner together spinace, patatoes and meet and a small desert ofcourse after diner we played some spider-man and than my eldest nephew had to get ready for his swimming lesson well he already got a, b and c and now he learns to get faster and more swim tecknic. i'll tell you my nephew was really one of the fastest swimmer in his group :-) so i'm real proud of him ofcourse. when we got back home my youghest nephew came down to say goodnight to me and than he had to go to sleep and me and my eldest nephew we got back to the spiderman game and finished the level 2 :-) than he had to turn the playstation off and we played finding nemo on our game boys for 5 minutes and than at 20:30 he also had to go to sleep cause the next morning he had to go to school. well it was a nice afternoon even i had this terrible headache it was still really fun to play with my nephews.

visiting my brother, his wife karen and their kids

At 19:30 my parents came to pick me up and we walked together the house of my brother albert and his wife karen. my father walked ahead so my mom and me walked together. stef walked from his house to my mom and i so when he reached us he told us he had pain in his neck cause he has fallen at friend's house and he cried when he felt and his mom picked him up and he went to the doctor and the doctor told him to rest for some days. well when we arrived at albert's and karen's house went inside and sat down on the sofa and first got drink some coffee and tea. stef, lars and me went to play games on the playstation like avatar, a spiderman game, fifa08 and star trek episode III while my parents, albert and karen were going to play this card game called klaverjassen. at 20:30 lars had to go to sleep so we said goodnight. At 00:30 my parents, albert and karen were finally finished the card game and stef and me played all evening games on the playstation....aaahhh. well i like to play games on the playstation with my nephews :-) its always fun.

Sauna and Loyly (opgieten/aufguss)

This morning i woke up and lucky the weather was good to go again to the sauna Holterhof with my mom so around 10:00 in the morning we went by car to the sauna nearby this city enschede. We were on time for the first aufguss at 11:00 it was the first one. their were not that many people so we sat down in the cabin and this guy who worked at the sauna came with two buckets with oil that smells very good and he had some towels with. he closed the cabin door and started to put some oil on the stones than he waved with the towel when he does that the temperture in the sauna gets low but you think that its hot in the sauna. he does that two times than he gets a bowl with ice we can cool ourselfs with that and than he comes with water icecream and some fruit to eat. than he starts the second round and after some times he does a cooling down and when not than we get outside the cabin and take a cold shower and walk to the swimming pool and get into the very cold pool for one second and than go for a swim in the swimming pool ofcourse. at 13:00, 15:00, 17:00 and 19:00 i went to the aufguss and in between that i went swimming a lot and drunk a lot of water and eat a lot of fruit too. we bought a coffee special with some chocolate during the day and for lunch and diner we eat this club sandwich :-) i really enjoyed the day at the sauna.

Visit some of my family

Around 08:30 we left by car to Visit Hans (the younghest brother of my mom) his wife Reina and their kids Froukje, Tynke and Swen. They live in this very small village in Friesland. We haven't seen Hans for a very very long time so we were all looking forward to see each other finaly after such a long time. After a two hours drive we arrived in this small village. Reina and her younghest Swen and a friend of swen were already waiting for us outside and they were so happy to see us. We had two little presents for Swen chalk so he can draw outside on the floor and a little game and he really liked it a lot. Hans and his younghest daughter Tynke were inside the house and when we stapped inside the house they were happy too to see us ofcourse. We sat down outside cause the weather was nice than Froukje and her boyfriend arrived too cause they wanted to meet us too when we all sat down we got coffee, tea and cake and we talked and laughted together. They got two youngh kittens named Spooky who is the eldest and roeky the younghest one and they were playing and running after each other all the time really cute. Around three we eat lunch and it was very delicious and tasted very good and after we eat some icecream as well :-) around 16:00 we left cause we also went to visit my mom's brother Ton and his wife Anky and their kids Nanda and Irina. They live in a city in Friesland. It was like 30minutes drive so at 16:30 we arrived at their home. Ton opened the door and we stapped inside. They were happy to too see us. a few minutes later Nanda and Irina came downstairs. Nanda i already met at the marathon in enschede but her sister Irina i haven't met yet so it was nice meeting her too finaly. we sat down in the living room and got coffee, tea and a cookie and we talked and laughted together. They got two cats too but they were just sleeping and walking around most of the time. Around 19:00 we eat diner together Anky made Lasangna and it tasted very good too. after diner we got some coffee, tea and cookie and talked some more around the dining table. around 20:30 we left back home. i was really tired and had a headache and some muscles were hurting so when we finaly were home i made a cup of tea and went to my room and felt a sleep. It was really a great day and i was happy to see some of my family back :-) and meet my causins :-)

Sauna Holterhof

Today I went with my mom to this sauna Holterhof nearby this city Enschede. It was my third time their and i really enjoyed it a lot. They got a lot of sauna's ofcourse, one normal swimming pool, saltwater pool and a very small cold pool. The weather was very good so we have been sunbading and swimming a lot. Their is one favorite sauna called Sauna Loyly (Opgieting/Aufguss)and every two hours from 11:00 till 21:00 you can take place in that sauna. At 13:00 i went in that sauna. you sit in the sauna with a lot of people and one person (the one that works in the sauna) he has this bucket of water with aromatic oils and throws it on the stones and than he will wave with this towel. their are three rounds and after the second he comes with a bucket with ice we can put it on your body too cool a little and we all get one piece of fruit and icelolly to eat. I really liked that sauna a lot. At 14:00 we eat lunch a club sandwich and drink cola light. we went sunbading and swimming some more and read some magazins too. At 16:30 we ordered this coffee with some pieaces of chocolate it tasted very good. at 19:00 we went again in the sauna Loyly and than after around 19:50 we eat diner and after diner at 21:00 i went for the last time in the sauna Loyly and than i went again in this saltwater pool and in the swimming pool. around 22:00 we started to get dressed and left back home. I really had a good time and enjoyed my day :-)

What is Löyly ritual
During Löyly ritual you go whereupon there simultaneously with a group the sauna in a sauna master with a large bucket water go along.

In the bucket water aromatic oil sits since water/steam does not smell badly and if pleasantly to experience becomes. This oil frequently ensures a delicious fragrance and there also beneficial properties to is imputed.

Aufguss can be best violent. The air humidity goes omhoog and you experience more warmth.

What is there fine to Löyly ritual
The Löyly rituals come as paddenstoelen from the ground. They ensure recreation and action the customers. There a type sits show element in that people attracts.

the marathon (21km) in enschede

This morning I woke up and i was a little nervous and excited too cause my mom and i went to enschede to run the 21km. i just have been running a year the 5km and some weeks before in hengelo my first 10km. My uncle was doing the 42km and his daughter the 21km as well. my aunt was just watching the marathon. Around 10 in the morning my father dropped my mom and me off in the city of enschede. first we walked around a little and looked around. At 11 o'clock the marathon started so my mom and i had a look. she tought she had seen her brother but wasn't sure about it. when the marathon was gone we walked around and suddenly we saw my causin and her mom walking so my mom and i walked to them and said "hi" and talked a little than my causin was going to get ready for her run and me and my mom got ourselfs ready too. at 12:45 the half marathon started aaahhh. when we were waiting for the start i was so exciting. my mom and me walked all way together. it was warm but the first 15km went fine but at the 16th km it got harder but i did not give up and my mom and i made it exactly on time :-) my causin had already finished. now we had to wait for my uncle to finish. when he finished and we all got our t-shirt and presents we eat and drink something together and talked a little so it was a fun day :-) next year i will run again ofcourse :-)
