christmas weekend at my uncle and aunt's place

the 24th of december me and my parents went by car to friesland for the weekend to celebrate christmas with my mom's younghest brother and his wife and their little boy and daughters. we arrived like at 3 in the afternoon. around 10 me, my parents, my aunt and cousen went to church and we sing some christmas songs and someone told a few stories. the next day my mom's other brother came by with his wife and my younghest cousen with her boyfriend and we eat diner together. after diner we talked and laughed. when everyone left me, my mom, my uncle and aunt played this game called skip bo and laughed a lot it was a real fun evening. the next day we almost went home again but first my eldest cousen and her boyfriend came by. when my aunt and my younghest cousen came back from church we went to eat warm lunch and after we left back home. it was a real fun christmas and it was great being with the family. its sad it went to fast again.

the first snow

This morning it started to snow which i don't like that much i'm not a snow kind of person. well some times snow can be fun if you can make a snowman out of it or throw snowball at each other.

birthday of my cousen

this morning we left by car to friesland to visit my uncle, aunt, little nephew and my two causens and there boyfriends. my eldest causen had her birthday today so she did not know we would come over so it was a surprise when we arrived and walked into the livingroom :-) she really liked it a lot that we came by it was a real fun day. we talked a lot and me, my causens and there boyfriends went to drachten by car we walked around and went into some of the shops they had. when we arrived back home my other uncle with his wife and younghest daugter were there they came by motorcycle. it was nice seeing them too after a long time. after we got some diner at the chinese restaurant and eat it at home. after diner me and my parents kind of left back home cause it was already a bit late. now we are back home and i got a great day with my family now i'm tired :-) but look back at a fun day.

family day drouwenerzand

This morning at 08:30 we got in the car and drove to drouwenerzand fun park where we had this family day of my mom's side at 10 we arrived and the park got open so we said we would meet in the park near the entrance. not that late a few of the family arrived and we decided to sit outside cause it was dry and wasn't raining or so but a bit cold. we eat lots of french fries, kroketten, frikandellen and ice cream and drink lots of coffee to get warm. we went in lots of rides so we had lots of fun. well i still had this cold so soon i did not feel that well to get in all the rides this time. i just went in a few of them and eat lots of things and talked to everyone and walked around and had a good time :-) when we got back home i was very tired and my head was hurting a bit but other than that i had a real good time and it was great to see everyone and meet a few more family i haven't met yet :-)

camping

when we came back to Holland after tenerife my mom and i went to the camping where my parents got this mobile home. we've had some nice sunny weather but not like last year :-( when it was sunny we went for swimming or bike riding to another town and eat some lunch or anything else. their was a fun fair where i've been to just once and their was a small circus as well near by the camping. some of our friends we met in tenerife passed by too one couple from the south of holland and one couple who live nearby the camping came by so that was nice seeing them again. the camping is nearby a big wood and at the camping there is a playground for kids, swimming pool and a small place with some animals which you can give left overs so its nice when the weather is good. this year we got lots of rain and it started to get colder early this year but when the weather is good its nice to be at the camping especially my dog likes it he can run and play outside :-)

vacation to tenerife :-)

The end of may me and my mom went back to tenerife after a year. when we arrived at the airport it felt like coming back home and i was so happy. we went by taxi to our hotel and when we walked into the hotel the persons that us knew at the reception said hi to us and were happy we are back again :-) we got a very good room. it was already late so we first put the things in the room and eat something than went for a evening walk like always. the following days we went swimming, walking a lot to la caletta and in the evening we some times went to los christianos. one evening we went to gran circo mundial and that was really good a show of three hours. we also went to see the musical of abbah, pink floyd and queen. our friends from holland and belgium were also at the hotel so it was good to see them all back. we also met two girls from holland so the times we watched football in our orange clothes we walked and screaming on the boulevard and when holland won we jumped in the pool with our clothes on ofcourse. we have had lots lots of fun :-) we've been visiting our friend who plays at lewinski as well and did some of line dancing :-) it was sad we had to leave home to four weeks went by to fast again. up to next year :-)

marikenloop 2010

well sunday me and my mom went by train to nijmegen where we had a women running competition. we had to wait two hours before the start was of the 5km so we first walked around and got our t-shirts and a bidon. than we went to a sport cafe to have something to eat and to drink too and sat down outside in the sunshine. the only bad thing was i got a little bit of a headache but well i hoped it went away when i had coffee. it was nice weather so that was good. when it was almost time we got ready and went to the section of the colour they put the people into and their we had a warming up from someone the warming up was fun like always a bit of aerobic and stretching as well. than at 1 the first sections went and i was in the third section. i runned very good i thought and i had the feeling i did the 5km in 30minutes or something like that and when i reached the finish the headache got worser. i had to wait three minutes or so till my mom reached the finish. after we watched the 10km coming over the finish some of them had to throw up when they reached the finish. at 4 the last people of the 10km reached the finish and after everyone left to the train station. we had to wait for a bit till the train arrived and in another small town we had to wain half an hour till the train arrived and my head was hurting a lot so i was happy after two hours by train to be back home. i went outside with the dog and had some dinner and than went to lie down on the sofa and watched some tv. so up to next years run and hope with a better time hopefully 29minutes.

Liberation day

yesterday morning i got coffee in bed so i woke up and drink my coffee and found my running clothes and put them on. when i finished that i went out with the dog and when i came back home my dad was already at the camping.around 10 we left by bike to the caravan of my aunt and uncle and they were ready too. they runned to town while we went by bike. i met them in front of the train station and my parents went already to the square where their was this tent and you could get your running number. when my uncle and aunt arrived at the trainstation we all went to the square and they got their running number. they started at 11:35 and runned the 10km which was four rounds. we started at 11:40 and runned the 5km and we had to run two rounds. well my dad went running to but he quit after two and half km so i was really not proud of him at all no spine at all. i runned very well this time and i think i got a much better time than some weeks ago i really hope. in the evening we all went out for dinner here at the camping restaurant.it was a nice day.

enschede marathon 2010

sunday morning my mom and i left the camping very early by car to get back home to get dressed into our running clothes and went by car to enschede where the marathon started. at 10:30 the marathon started after at 11:00 the cityrun started. my mom and i have runned the cityrun 5 mile (8km) when we started it got really warm so i almost thought to give up the last three km i kind of walked. lucky we had two water posts and some sponces as well and i got my own water too. it was hard. when we were almost at the finish the half of the marathon started at 12:30 so that geve me the stringth to get faster again. well i was tired when i arrived at the finish and thirsty too. after we watched the people from the marathon and the half of the marathon to come back at the finish. the people of the marathong could run a bit shorter cause of the warm weather they decided to make it a bit shorter like 6km. it was nice so up to next year :-) and hopefully we run better

birthday of my little nephew

yesterday around 10 we went by car to friesland to my uncle, aunt, little nephew, my two causens and the boyfriend from one of my causen. my little nephew had his birthday and turned 5 years old. he got lots of presents and visitors too. from us he got some small cars, one stickerbook and a prayer book for kids. from others he got cars, clothes, towel and some books. when everyone left my causens, nephew, boyfriend and i went by car to the supermarket and on the way to the supermarket we had lots of fun :-) when we came back we started eating dinner and had some coffee. around 20:00 in the evening my parents and i left back home a 2 hours drive back. i was very tired when i was home so i went out with my dog and went to sleep. i had a great day with my family :-)

fifth day in friesland

When i woke up we eat breakfast. after me and my aunt we went by car to another town where they had a swimmingpool one of their friends has a little boy who went to get his diploma for swimming so me and my aunt have watched him swim and after when they all were dressed up again all the children got their diploma. after we drove to another town to do some grossery shopping when we finished that we drove back home and we all got ready and got dressed up to go to my other uncle and aunt to celebrate two birthdays and later on have diner all together. we arrived around 14:00 in the afternoon and we were the first once. we got some cake and something to drink. my other causen was their already than my parents arrived and not much later my other causen. the boyfriend of my youngest causen arrived not much later and after a while the boyfriend of my eldest causen arrived too so when everyone was around we left by cars to this restaurant where we had diner all together. it was very nice and the food was good too. we talked and laughed and had fun after diner everyone went back to their own place. we had to drive more than an hour and i was tired when we arrived back home. but i had a great time in friesland with my family :-)

fourth day in friesland

well this morning i woke up at 08:00 in the morning and went down for breakfast. me, my causen and my little nephew eat breakfast together than i went on my pc for 5 minutes and than i had to get ready to go with my aunt and little nephew by bike to the church for the childrens bible day. it was very nice. when we arrived and all kids were their we started to sing a song about jonas and the wale and than someone told a story about this boy jonas and the wale. after we went into groups group 1 till 4 had to go to a room up and the groups 5 till 8 had to go to a room down. the group i helped in had to colour a wale with jonas and i had to cut the wale and jonas and than they clue it together and jonas was sitting in the wale. after they all walked to the gym where they did some sport games. when we were back at the church they had to watch a movie when the movie was finished they all sing one more time the song of jonas and say one prayer and than they left all back home. it was a fun day but now i'm very tired.

third day in friesland

well this morning i woke up early like 08:00 at 08:30 we eat breakfast together my aunt, causen, litle nephew and i. after breakfast we put on a movie called hotel for dogs. my little nephew was watching very nicely so it was nice but when the movie was finished he was running around. now he goes playing mario kart again he is all in to mario kart. later today we go to a childrens farm with small animals for kids and a inside playground and a butterfly garden and a restaurant to drink coffee or tea so it will be nice. well when my uncle came back home my aunt, causen, little nephew and i left to drachten where this childrens farm was. it was really fun. they had this small place where they had reptiles like those big spiders and snakes after seeing those things we went to this indoor playground where you could climb and have fun a lot of adults went climbing in the playground so it was lots of fun running in this climb thing with my little nephew :-) after when we were back home we went eating. my uncle made lots of jokes during dinner and after too :-) than me and my aunt went to this meeting of their church where they have a childrens bible day tomorrow all day long so it will be a busy day helping out but fun too. but i will tell you about that tomorrow ofourse :-)

second day in friesland

when i woke up this morning it was all white outside bbbrrr and the room where i sleep does not have a heater so at night time it was cold in the room. i'm not used to that so that was hard when i had to get up this morning bbbbrrrr. when i came downstairs my aunt, causen and nephew were already awake and watching tv. my nephew he wanted to play mario kard again so i told him when i finished my breakfast and finished watching repelsteeltje i play four races of mario kard so i did. after i went on my own computer :-) well today its not very good weather to go outside so i think it will be inide the whole day. i don't know yet what the plans are but i will see. well later more news. around 15:30 we went by car to a pet store to buy something for the cats and they had some reptiles one snake but it was underneat a rock so we could not see the snake probably he was a sleep. after we went to the swimming pool cause my little nephew had swimming lesson for half a hour or so and he did well on it. they played a game in the water and than they were finished. when we were back home we eat diner spaghetti. after i sat down behind my computer all eveing till i went to sleep.

some days in friesland visit my family

yesterday around 9 in the morning my parents have brought me by car to zwolle where i took the train to heerenveen. my causen she picked me up at the train station first when i arrived at the train station i could not find my causen so i tried to call her but her phone was off so i could not reach her so i called my parents and than i saw her so i went up to her. after we drove by car to drachten to put some benzine in the car than we went to get my uncle from his work and went to their home to have lunch. after i played some mario kard on the wii with my little nephew and watched some movies tinkerbell and some other movie called the magic carrousel a movie for little kids. after dinner my causen, her boyfriend and i walked to a small place nearby 5km from here where my causens mom and sister lives. it was nice meeting her mom. my causens showed me their rooms where they have slept and still sleep and they were very nice rooms :-) later her mom brought us back home so we did not have to walk through the cold. i made a joke to my causens boyfriend i told him ok you go walk back home cause you got to practise for the nght marathon so he left the house and he really went walking but not even half way we picked him up he has been running 1km so thats good. after when we were back home we watched a movie and i kind of was very tired so i felt a sleep on the couch. so after the movie i went upstairs to sleep. i sleep in the room of my little nephew on his race bed hahahaaa.

foster kids

when i was 6 years old we had two kids from ireland Karen and Margaret. they were 8 years old. i really had a great time. we stayed for a while at the camping with the two girls and enjoyed camping life going swmimming everyday eating outside and things like that. after some weeks at the camping we went back home where we enjoyed the rest of the time playing in the garden with water. they also thought me how to bike ride on my orange little bike :-) we had a great time with them. its sad we have no contact with them but i always hope we will find them again. would be great to see how they are doing now :-)
