marathon of enschede

at 8 this morning i woke up and got into my running clothes and shoes. eat breakfast got some tea and went outside with my dog after i went to my mom's house and we took off to enschede. it was a bit hard to get to the parking lot where we wanted to park the car but finally we found it than we went to the saxion a school where we got our start numbers than we left back to the car to put the things away and got ready. after we walked to the start/finish place we saw the marathon leaving and than at 11:05 the cityrun started me and my mom runned the 5 mile (8km) it got a bit warm so it was a little hard. i started to run slowely but when i was warm i left my mom behind and went faster. during the run i got some pain in my ribs but i found out a way to get rid of it quickly. we had twice a water post so that was good. when i was almost at the finish i could make a sprint. on the route we had lots of music as well so i runned very well and my time was good a lot better than last year so i'm proud of myself again. up to the next run
