enschede marathon 2010

sunday morning my mom and i left the camping very early by car to get back home to get dressed into our running clothes and went by car to enschede where the marathon started. at 10:30 the marathon started after at 11:00 the cityrun started. my mom and i have runned the cityrun 5 mile (8km) when we started it got really warm so i almost thought to give up the last three km i kind of walked. lucky we had two water posts and some sponces as well and i got my own water too. it was hard. when we were almost at the finish the half of the marathon started at 12:30 so that geve me the stringth to get faster again. well i was tired when i arrived at the finish and thirsty too. after we watched the people from the marathon and the half of the marathon to come back at the finish. the people of the marathong could run a bit shorter cause of the warm weather they decided to make it a bit shorter like 6km. it was nice so up to next year :-) and hopefully we run better
