running race the english 5 mile

yesterday morning i woke up at 08:30 and got myself ready for the running race in haaksbergen. i put on my running clothes and shoes eat some breakfast went outside with my dog rocky and gave him something to eat too. than i went off to my mom's place and she was ready too so at around 09:30/10:00 we left by car to haaksbergen. when we arrived their we parked the car nearby the centre. at the square their was this tent we had to go to get our start numbers so we did. than we had to wait till 111:45 till the 5 mile started so we went in a cafe and drink some cup of tea and went to the toilet twice. time went by quick. at 11:45 we stood at the start and waited till the start shot went and than it went off aaahhh people went running of and their was this music playing and it was fun when we started to run away :-) it was one way running and the same way back but every where their were people watching and their was music so it was real fun. my mom and i runned almost all the way together and went together over the finish too with holding hands :-) after we had something to drink and than had a look at some shops cause the shops were open too till 17:00 that day. my mom and i did not stayed that long at around 15:00 we were back home. in the evening we left to some friends of us we have met a very long time ago in tenerife at the hotel we always go to and every year we meet them again and they live very close to us in enschede so we have visited them. their son is also a runner. well it was a fun day.
